This gorgeous little place has the best vegetarian gyoza! Love the cabbage salad and delicious dressing that accompanies the dishes.

Beyond the variations of ramen, they also have rice options and curry options etc. One of my favourites is Negi Miso Ramen, which contains leak and pork with hot chilli, and is served in a soy bean soup broth with generous quantities of corn, bean shoots & spring onion. My other favourite, is the Beef Curry Rice with Potato Croquette. It's a traditional japanese beef curry and the beef is nice and tender accompanied by a japanese version of the classic hash brown, toasted golden with a crispy panko crumb outer coat. It is served with a lovely little cabbage salad on the side.
The last note on momotaro is the thoughtfulness in offering guests the option of brown rice.

Great food, dirt cheap prices, fantastic service. This tiny place has everything you'd want from a ramen restaurant. We like to go there on cold and rainy nights which means we're there very often during winter! I always go for the ramen - the noodles are nice and chewy and the soup base is always spot-on. Comfort food all around.

Having a craving for Rahmen I found this place on Bridge Road. I believe they make their own rahmen, and it's good! The perfect hot soup bowl of rahmen, just like in Japan. The prices are also super cheap.

The Rahmen noodles are not the only reason you go to Maomtaro Rahmen restaurant in Bridge road. The dumplings are huge and taste great,the serving sizes are generous and the quality is always of the highest quality. I started going there for lunch now I also go for dinner.
