Not recommended, rude and unqualified staff for styled hair
It was a disappointing experience with one of their male staff, James. He had just had some issues with another customer from what I could see, then when he came to me, he did not communicate well enough and angrily dragged me to do the wash before the trim, without explaining it would take $20. But he spent only less than 5mins to carelessly wash my hair. Then he did my pixie trim, and made me need to correct him 4 times at the end no matter how many photos and instruction I showed. He clearly does not know what he does and definitely unqualified for this job.
If you need a normal trim or haircut, you can come here. But if you have styled hair. Stay away from this place, or at least that male staff.
I have been having my hair styled regularly for many years at Monica’s and have been happy. Today I was charged more than $100 more than the usual price for the same treatment and I was asked to pay $4 to use my debit card. I was so disappointed with the very deliberate gouging for paying for my hair cut, much more than the extreme change in the price. Needless to say, I will not be back.
I had an extremely pleasant experience at this hairdresser. I was greeted with smiles and paid a reasonable price for a trim and bangs. I will definitely be recommending this business and coming back as a regular customer.
