Long story short: I brought my car in to fix one problem. Instead of fixing that problem, Paul fixed three other problems.

When I left the car with him, he said he would need to fix two issues for safety and it would cost AUD 1,200. He called the next day saying the car is ready for pickup and he found one more issue he had to fix for an additional $200. He didn't check with me first. Just fixed it and added it to the invoice.

When I picked up the car he mentioned that the problem I brought the car in for, is still persisting. When I asked him how I can fix that he said, to go to a specialist who could do this for $200, but the car now runs much smoother.

Took the car for a spin and sure enough, problem was still there. I called and said I'm unhappy with this and why he didn't tell me that these other issues are unrelated to the initial problem. He said he understood my disappointment.

Anyhow. Would not recommend.

Paul and Sam are nice blokes, down to earth, and very helpful. As a female i do not really know if the prices charged were reasonable, but i found them to be helpful and they seemed honest, I was happy.
