What a Jem, stumbled across this little cafe with friends. This cafe is a nice relaxing tranquil environment with scones that taste like heaven.. Bacon egg rolls were scrumptious and decently priced.. Staff we’re very friendly and welcoming, I will definitely be returning when back in the area

Our first bus trip this year from Dahlsford Village Portmacquarie stopped at Moorland Cottage had a scrumptious morning tea plain or fruit scones jam and cream lemon cheesecake and caramel slice was all enjoyed by our group of 21 seniors Coffee was first class happy friendly staff in attendance the new owners have done a great job in the garden and friendly chickens roam around a great place for mum and dad to watch the kids play while they have a well earned cuppa

We have stopped there for breakfast and really loved the food, it took a bit longer to come out to us but was fresh and hot Their bacon and egg rolls are to die for really yummy and their coffee is just perfect, their prices are a bit expensive but worth it we will go back there again

An interesting experience at first, the service area is a little confusing as the busy ladies are behind a flyscreen in the kitchen area but didn't get a chance to greet or serve us at first so left us wondering if we were in the right spot to order. However that aside, ordered coffee, and scones. The scones are 5/5, hence the quality rating. They advertise 'Best Scones on the coast'. We thought best we'd had. Period. Gardens and facilities are nice, kids can have a wander around giving you some peace. A small shop with some gifts is also located there.
