Disgusting, not clean!
This place is not a rescue shelter!

Puppies sold as older than they are, underweight and fed incorrect diet.
Raw chicken and off meat chucked into yards for dogs to feed on just doesn’t cut it.

When I took my pup that I purchased the vet was absolutely shocked, and my puppy had many Bacteria infections. To this day still has health issues

owner was not contactable!!!
This place is not a rescue shelter it is on par with a puppy factory.
It is clear she is not following the RSPCA conditions that was placed when she lost at court.

not a clean boarding kennel,with sick cats and dogs roaming around the dirty place,and badly built kennels,the prices are over priced badly and the service is bad,as the person running it is mostly not open,and when you ring them for an apt to visit they never stick to it,and have a lot of unacceptable excuses,this place should not be running and the government should shut them down,its sad to see the animals mistreated like they are in the shelter,would never go there again and hope it closes

We got our amazing dog Daisy about 2 years ago from Moorook. Their selection of dogs was terrific and the description of each dog was amazing that we looked through their website and took a chance at a dog that looked like it managed our lifestyle.
Well the description matched perfectly, and Daisy has been a great dog. They do amazing work down there and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to adopt a pet.

We paid $150 for a fully vaccinated, desexed and microchipped dog, I think it has gone up now, but still better value than RSPCA. Morook relies solely on donations from the public and is a no kill shelter.

Moorook Animal Shelter is the best place to go to find a pet for yourself or anyone you know who is looking to adopt. They are a non kill organisation which is why we chose them. Not enough people know about Moorook but they need to know.We got Jaspa from them last year and he was an awesome little fella. Unfortunately we had to give him up this year and Mooorook kindly took him back and found him a new home.We now donate to them weekly.

This shelter is one of the best around. The manager and volunteers go above and beyond to make sure people ans pet are happy with each other. They will also deliver the animal to Adelaide when it's possible. I got my girl from there and she is just the best natured girl.

There are approximately 100 dogs and cats available. Dogs are $150 each and cats are $100 each. The Moorook Animal Shelter has a suitable companion for every household.
Purebred dogs are a little more, but these costs include desexing, vaccination and a voucher for microchipping.
