I recently ordered two booster seats and a couple of clothing items from Mothercare online. I ordered on a Sunday night and expected a confirmation email from the retailer confirming the order. By Monday afternoon I'd still not received any email confirmation however the money had been taken from the bank. I phoned Mothercare to be told they couldn't find the order and they'd phone me back. No one returned my call. Phoned again Tuesday, got the same story and another promise to call me back. No one returned my call. Phoned again following day, was on hold for an eternity, spoke to someone for about 1 minute when phone call terminated at 2 minutes past 5pm. Phoned again Thursday and finally got through to someone who seemed able to help. It's now Tuesday of the following week, still no email confirming order and no idea when goods might arrive. I've given up waiting for the online team to do what was promised (deliver the goods and provide me with email confirmation of order) and have agreed with Mothercare that I will drive to my nearest store and pick up the goods myself. If I'd have known I was going to have to travel to the store to pick the goods up I would have gone there in the first place! Isn't ordering online meant to be easier? I'll never use Mothercare Online again. Completely useless. There are lots of other retailers selling the same thing. I'd suggest you give Mothercare a miss and take your business elsewhere.
