I visited this establishment with my wife and two children for a friend's birthday as it was near his place and promoted as a child friendly pub with a kids play ground and kids room. We were extremely disappointed in regards to how we and our children were treated, the manager came and complained and asked us to tell the children to stop squealing, when they were in the playground! I'm sorry but what do children do in playgrounds? They play and chase each other and yell out squeals of delight. There was no one else around us just our party of over 10 that expanded to around 20 which was almost as many people that were dining in the pub. We were again asked to quieten our children down this time when I promised my daughter and son's friend ice cream because they were excited about getting ice cream. There was approximately 6 people in our vicinity who didn't seem concerned in the slightest. The only person annoyed was the manager who seemed to have a problem with children. To top it off the food service was below average with meals being forgotten, incorrect or delivered late. The quality of the food was also below average even of what is expected of a pub with the only redeeming feature being the price. I certainly wouldn't go here again even with the good facilities of the playground and kids area unless a different manager is on who doesn't mind children.

We came to dine here after receiving a coupon on the back of a shop a docket. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the quality of our meals. My dish had to much sauce on it and I found my meal was drowning in it and lacked a lot of flavour because of too much sauce. We did wait some time for our meals after being told that their chef was away for the meal service. The meals here were expensive and overall it was a satisfactory dining experience.

Approximate cost: $25.00

I went there for the first time last week and ...NEVER AGAIN!!! The food was typical pub grub but why bother asking for a medium-rare steak when they all come out the same, anyway? I was told that they used to be not too bad. Not in my books. The service was atrocious. It took 45 minutes to get our meals and it wasn't even 1/4 full.

Gone are the days where pub food is cheap... But the steak was OK for $14 (with $10 discount voucher).

The lady at the bar was extremely rude, she wasn't handling the stress of being the only person serving very well.

However on Wednesday night they have a clown for the kids with free face painting and balloon stretching which made it all completely worthwhile

Approximate cost: $25
