My partner and I chose Movenpick in Emporium for redemption of a voucher we purchased through Groupon. It was for a basket of three scoops of icecream of our choice and a sensual shake. Surprisingly enough, only one man serving quite busy boutique of customers handled orders very well. We were served with a basket promptly. Then he said he would have brought the shake to us. I personally did not see him neither preparing nor mixing ingredients for shake at that time as a result I was amazed he brought it to our table only few minutes later. I had thought it would've taken him quite while because the queue of customers lined up behind us. Very good job! If I had the chance, I would have told him how impressed I was.

Movenpick icecream is sensation that you must try...and I recommend you to visit boutique in Fortitude Valley :)

Approximate cost: $5-20

Accidentally found Movenpick today after consuming a huge lunch at nearby Guzman Y Gomez Tacqueria. The store was bright and modern and the display of ice creams and sorbets looked neat and inviting. I had a waffle cone with 2 scoops (ridiculously priced at $6.95) the espresso flavour was strong and teamed nicely with the syrup/walnut flavour. Delicious ice cream for a rare visit but the staff, though efficient could have done a better job at providing some kind of further information to new clients about what's available on the menu. Really would have liked some hot fudge but it wasn't offered so I didn't know they had it until I finally noticed it on the board and I was halfway done. In summary, delicious ice cream but other areas have room for improvement.

Approximate cost: $8.00

The presentation of the store and things like the menus is impressive. The ice creams all look utterly delicious in their tubs and the menu items on the big, lit-up display board are very tempting. The ice cream itself is, I think, nothing too special but obviously people must love them because they're expensive and yet, Movenpick is still popular and growing.

The staff at Emporium Movenpick were very nice ... helpful, friendly and efficient. The location is pretty good for the Valley, considering there is free parking and lots of other dining options before going to Movenpick for dessert.

The store is clean, well maintained and there are gas heaters outside to keep patrons warm.

Approximate cost: $12.95
