Modern and trendy, Mr Ed is a nice place to go for a casual weekend brunch. The atmosphere is minimalist and very neat. I liked how the surrounds, furnishings and decor is neat and cheerful, rather than the dark warehouse mood which so many cafes seem to go for these days. The menu at Mr Ed mirrors the style and inspiration of many of Melbourne's "It" cafes. For instance, Braised pulled pork with potato feta hash cake + fried duck egg, and Bubble & squeak deconstructed and presented 21st century style. And the prices tend to be below the $20 mark aka reasonable.
