Very cool place to eat, stylish black plates, very modern.. Their food was a little bit small but very interesting. Looks like the owner and chef are very passionate.

Good music, love the back courtyard option, excellent coffee and the food l have had has been delicious. Bit pricey but you will always be satisfied, whether it be for breakfast or for one of their burgers

Great cafe with excellent coffee & breakfast menu. I've eaten here a few times and the food has been consistent. Good coffee shop vibe & staff are polite & friendly. Am planning on returning again

First thing - great coffee. they use Padre beans and Saint David Diary milk. The milk is what really adds to the splendour of the coffee.
I was impressed by the value in menu's offerings and care in execution.
Take for example, the Atlantic Salmon Fish Cakes with tartare sauce, fresh herb salad and green peas ($17). Two enormous, golden fish cakes made mostly of mashed potato were very filling but delicious. The creamy tartare sauce complimented the fish cakes. The succulent peas and the herb salad added freshness. It was a very large dish and I would normally have trouble finishing, but it was so delicious in this case I couldn't help myself.

Ive been a few times and i have to say the menu is just average. The quality is fine but the staff are very kind. I would only go back to see the lovely interior and staff. But the food isnt that great. I might go back to retry:)

This used to be one of my favourite cafes until recently. I had a steak sandwich and it wasnt very nice at all. They slapped together some iceberg lettuce (pet hate) and some tomatoe and a fatty piece of meat. It was tasteless. Then I took my mum out for lunch and ordered the calamari special salad. It was a soup of wilted rocket, spinach, ginger and calamari that was tasteless. The chef def forgot to add salt and it was as if they poured some of the boiling water in for good measure. I complained and they said they would fix it up next time. So I went a few days later, my friend ordered a well done steak sandwich and it was raw (didnt get a chance to warn her before they put the order through). It was medium rare. She returned it and they must have quickly thrown it on the cooktop for a few seconds and back again she came, still not well done. Possible the worse meals i have ever had in a span of a few days! What was worse, i went to pay and the owner tried to shut me up and couldnt get rid of me quick enough. My feedback was discrete , not attracting any attention. They were busy so they prob think "oh well, who cares, two people less"... They clearly cannot handle customers when it is busy (although the other times it wasnt busy) and to be treated like that with such rude service and attitude is unacceptable, considering I was a regular. It's such a pity as i had told many friends about this cafe, and whilst they may think they shut up one customer, they clearly have no regard for word of mouth. With many great cafes in the nearby vicinity and in surrounding areas I will never go back.

Approximate cost: $13-18
