Really good food. I've been there a couple of times and have found no faults.
No fancy decorations just plain tables and chairs but excellent food and fast service.

We recently ordered takeaway from Mr Rice, after reading positive comments on WOMOW. The experience was all good, that is until we opened the food. The food was quite oily, and seemed quite disproportionate in the sauce to product stakes. Upon consumption, the food left an oily film that coated our mouths, and made us all feel slightly queasy as a result. We dismissed the bad dining as a learning experience and agreed collectively not to buy from Mr. Rice again. We thought this would be the end of it all.

We were wrong.

The next day, Mr. Rice got his vengeance. A battle that Mr. Rice chose to spread out in anywhere from 3 to 6 waves. Each of us spent the best part of the next day in agony as our bowels rejected the Mr. Rice food.

I can honestly say that Mr. Rice is THE WORST Chinese food I have ever eaten in Ballarat.

Fast, friendly, cheap and tasted great. No MSG, no artificial colours. Brilliant homemade chicken dim sims. It also has claypot dinners, which we're going to try next. Apparently they're delicious.
