This is a really good bakery, tucked away! I like to try the vege pasties at all bakery's i go to, this place definitely does it right :) The staff are pretty friendly too!

I stopped in here on a whim and I was expecting an average, generic bakery. Boy was I wrong! This place is more like a patisserie with a huge selection of delicious cakes and pastries. The danishes were lovely and a huge step up from your average bakery. The custard tarts and apple pies were nice, but not overly fresh and the shells were extremely soft and crumbly. A great place to get something that’s made fresh each day (like pastries and bread), for any of the other cakes I would recommend ordering fresh ones in advance. Service was adequate – not rude but not overly friendly or warm. This place has massive potential – it’s almost there.

Rude staff, they shut at 2pm on a public holiday, but a rude girl told us to leave at 1:30pm because they shut at 2pm. If your opening hours state 2pm, then good customer service would be to allow guests to sit until close to closing, not tell them to leave before closing. The pasties were also not that good, they were dry and not nice flakey pastry.

Im a baker by trade and i judge bakery by there pasties and wife judges by there vanilla slice. We left saying how nice the food was everything looked amazing. Keep up the good work ladys and gents. If we ever down that way again we will stop in for few more snacks.

The staff aren't always overly friendly but just get on with the job. Only the younger girls on a saterday and sunday don't always seem to know what they're doing. although this is the case the bread and cakes as well as the pies are all extremely nice.

Stopped in for a pie, walked out with a snack for after as well, looked so damned good.
Most bakeries have a meatless meat pie, this one, pretty sure I had a full steak up in that thing. Hope to drive past again some time soon.

amazing bakery... go here all the time, even better now that its changed owners! staff are much better then they used to be, and the new range of food is spectacular. the birthday cakes are great too.

Mt.Evelyn Bakery & Pastisserie Cafe would have to be one of the best bakeries I have even been to. The bread and cakes are just delicious and everything is always so fresh. Love it!

Great product but I have had a couple of very scary encounters with gruff staff. Fantastic sandwich platters

I have never experienced great service here. The workers have either been young and not fully aware of all the products they are selling, otherwise, the older staff seem to always be in a rush and not overly friendly. The quality of the food, however, makes up for this. If the food wasn't great, i wouldn't go back but their bakery goods really are to die for! Always new things to try... not the cheapest around but worth the price.
