i had my vehicle in repair at this shop it took three weeks to get it in excuse after excuse well once my vehicle was there it was an absolute nightmare.. not only did the management never returned my calls.. but when he did he told excuses.. little did the management know i had spoken to other staff who informed me of what the real issues were with my vehicle they kept blaming repairs on the rain and painting booths not working etc.. what for two weeks i dont think so mate. The management was an absolute disgrace to deal with I feel sorry for this company, the management was abrupt rude ignorant impatient wouldnt listen to a word i said and very confusing even seemed to confuse themselves. i have to say my experience with the staff who answered the phone was a good one they were pleasant and very helpfull and courteous and same with the other staff, thank godness they seemed to know what was happening. my repair was plauged with on going issues none which could ever be properly explained parts coming from japan they even blamed the tsunami.. when my parts were avaliable in australia at a number of dealerships Really very terrible experience.. which could of been avoided im sure.

My car just got accident on a road near this car reparing company. When my car had been just sent to this place, they told me it needs a week for reparing. A day later, they told mw, it needs two weeks. I had wited two weeks for their repairing, they told me the car hadn't fixed because the supplying problems. They have so many excuse for their job. They told me some other cars has stayed in their shop more than two months....how come, what are they doing? They couldn't fix a car more than two months just tell you they are waiting for supplying. So useless! When I ask them when I can pick the car, they just told me " I don't know"! It is something they should know. They should check out the supply not just waste of time at waiting and enjoy a cup of coffoee. In my suggestion, just never go to this repairing place. PS: they never open on weekends.

I took my car to this repairer because of their proximity to public transport, making it easy for me to get to and from work when dropping off and picking up my car. The location turned out to be the ONLY good thing about Mt Gravatt Smash Repairs in my opinion. The staff were extremely rude, unhelpful and unwilling to take any responsibility for their actions. I was repeatedly told that my car would be an overnight repair and it wasn't until I arrived to pick it up at 5pm on the second day that I was told it wouldn't be ready for another day.- without so much as a courtesy call to enabled me to make arrangements for an additional day without my car. When I finally went to collect my car it had scratches and other damage to the paintwork which had not been there when I dropped it of. The company refused to take responsibility for this and failed to even offer an apology. My advice is not to take you car to Mt Gravatt Smash Repairs unless you want to be inconvenienced by uncommunicated delays or you want your car to come back with damage it did not have when you dropped it off. These guys really need to look up the meaning of Customer Service.
