Awesome. We ordered the platter for 4 and food was amazing. Serving size wad massive and wait staff were very attentive. Highly recommend.

I loved the schnitzel with mushroom ragu and the kids all enjoyed their hotdogs. We were surprised to see that kids ate free in winter and that included gelati!
Some staff look like they'd rather be elsewhere but others are enjoying themselves and pleasant enough.

Good vibes. Nice music. Delicious food and great drinks. More friendly staff would be a great improvement. Most of them are super friendly and welcoming.

The pork knuckle was pretty awesome and had a great amount of crackle on it. My son smashed his crumbed chicken also. The beer tasting paddle was a good way to get through a few of their beers

Big space. Nearby beautiful Yarra river, next to DFO south Wharf. Good eating place while you doing shopping. They serve a lot variety of food.

I have always seen heaps of ads for this place, on the web, at the train station, on the radio etc etc.
I was a bit critical, but having recently been, I have decided it is not too bad. It really does feel like an enormous german beerhall with warehousy dimensions. Best of occasions where you feel like being generous with your personal space, keen for a night of high spirits and cheer.

I went for my a dinner with friends and my partner. I ordered the veal schnitzel. It was boring and lack flavour. It comes with a sauerkraut but if you want mash, chips or salads that is all extras you need to buy. My partner got the pork knuckle and the serving was big however it was a very fatty piece of meat. The service was good, however we didn't receive the promotional free drinks offered on their website as we booked a large group and even the manager didn't know about the promotion. That was disappointing. I wouldn't go back based on the food alone, but seems okay if you want to catch up for a drink.

It's big, beautiful and bavarian. I love this place. Newly opened, lots of space, light, air and a bit of class. There serve a really wide range of european beers, so it should keep he serious beer drinkers happy. Would be a great place to hold an event too, given the size of the place - fits 900 people.
