I have done guitar lessons with Jim, the owner of the store, for around two years. I find that he is a great teacher, but can often be sidetracked, and his half an hour lesson may be 15 minutes of playing guitar and 15 of chatting, taking away from valuable lesson time.

I feel as though a lot of his teaching notes are simply free tutorials printed from the internet, which I could have been teaching myself at home. However his method of teaching is great, and I have learned a lot about playing technique from him.

Lessons are reasonably priced; You pay depending on the length of your lesson. Lesson times are flexible; I have been able to take lessons on a variety of weeknights as well as Saturday mornings.

At the end of the year there is a concert where all students get the chance to perform, beginners in an ensemble, and solos or smaller groups for more experienced students.

One thing that disappointed me, was the purchase of a guitar through Jim. He found me a guitar which I thought was excellent - it had a beautiful sound to it, and was "only" $500. However I later found out from a guitar technician that the guitar was poorly made, and probably not worth the money I had paid for it.

Generally, I would return to Jim's Music Creations for further lessons in the future, and I would recommend it to beginners starting out in any of the instrumental lessons he offers.

My 2 daughters have been taking singing lessons since early this year and their confidence have soared (as well as their singing skills!) Very thorough teaching methods, fun and very affordable. Highly recommend Jim & his team!!!! 5 star rating all round!!!!

My daughter has private guitar lessons with Jim at Music Creations, he is a fantastic teacher, makes the lesson fun, I enjoy watching the progress of my daughter and she is very motivated to keep the lessons up. My son has drum lessons with Music Creations, he absolutely loves it and I would recommend Music Creations to everyone.

It's a lot of fun, I learn a lot of theory but in a way where it is all practical which makes learning it fun.

My daughter has been learning keyboards for 5 years now. She loves the fun and friendly environment. The teachers are great and flexible. She can be a bit of a handful at times but they good at managing her and getting back to learning music. Just about to start guitar lessons as well with the company.

Jimmy has been an excellent guitar teacher for my 15 year old son Alexander.
It is wonderful to watch Alexander lose himself with his guitar.

The owner of this business, Jim, found me an excellent clarinet teacher named Michael. I went to Jim's studio to learn the clarinet every week for almost 8 months until music teacher found a full time job. They also teach piano and guitar as well as recording tracks
