From my first chat with Greg on the phone I knew that this practice was willing to go that extra mile with the utmost sensitivity & understanding. Emma was phenomenonal & we felt honoured to have our elderly Pekingese in such experienced hands. She was friendly, tactful, & empathetic during a very difficult time for us. Everything was fully explained & handled very professionally with consideration & compassion. Thankyou so much Emma & Greg for giving our beloved little family member a pain free, comfortable farewell from the earthly realm.

It is more than the convenience of a vet coming to your home - it is having a professional person, a fellow human being. who not just understands your love of a close companion animal but assists them in their time of need with dignity and respect. Emma sat down on the ground outside, next to our beloved shepherd and us. She gently and respectfully explained every action she was about to take and why it was being taken. She let us take in what was happening - we were not rushed. Procedures could be stopped at any time if we changed our mind. It is a very difficult job that she has chosen to do full time which demonstrates her commitment to helping owners and animals. We really feel your service today was outstanding considering the difficulties we had in letting Rufus go. It was always going to be the most difficult day and we feel privileged to have had you to our home today. Our greatest fear was rufus suddenly needing emergency euthanasia which would have meant a car trip which he hated most of all, secondly by being at the vet with all it's clinical smells.

He was peaceful on his doona outside and after the gentle sedation was purring happily enjoying his chin rub.

He has been an amazing pet and we couldn't be more grateful for your service, as hard as it was.

It's a very personal decision when letting your pet go but should I have occasion, I will certainly say to anyone in similar need that it shouldn't be done any other way than by you.
