In my experience I feel ripped off after getting a basic service for a hefty $99. I don't believe anything was actually done besides a gear tune. They neglected doing the other things listed on the website (which isn't much anyway). I've since watched a great how-to vid on youtube and the gear tune takes 15 minutes at home.... without going the extra mile and promoting good customer service it's easy to see why people shop online and avoid getting rolled in situations like this.

My experience at My Mountain began with being patronised by a staff member when I balked at their prices for a bike service, which were literally triple what I had paid before (at three different other shops). I was told that service of their quality was not for everyone.

Having now experienced their service, I can report that this is quite correct: their service is not for everyone - it's only for wealthy idiots.

My bike's service cost $120 - this is the price of their lowest grade of service, and does not include parts - and the bike now makes a rather disturbing noise it did not make before the service. I will be getting my bike serviced again soon - but it will never again be at My Mountain.
