I have been a visitor at Myuna farm since being a teenager (attended Secondary school down the road), I am now 35. It is an amazing place. I love going there and seeing the changes and now really enjoy taking my children and friends children there for a morning or afternoon outing. We always take a packed meal, morning or afternoon tea. My boys usually end up eating more of the duck bread than the ducks do!! The playground is fantastic, toilet facilities great for parents with little children... the facilities make it a great place to visit no matter what the weather, although on a rainy day we always need a change of clothes, my boys love mud puddles. learning about animals, plants and the cycle of life is all here. I love the rat enclosure... amazing... and the education aspect. the community/kitchen garden is great as is the regular market day... altogether, unbeatable family outing.

Approximate cost: $8

I have taken my children here a few times and they once attended for a birthday party. It's is an excellent place, we have so much fun. My girls love the guinea pigs and spend hours nursing and patting them. Once they were closing and my children got upset because they wanted to see the guinea pigs and rabbits one more time, the lovely staff said that we could stay in for a little longer so the kids could be with them and watch the staff feed the animals! It's was lovely.

Approximate cost: $30

We went there with a group of friends, and I think we all enjoyed it. The kids (and I) loved the enclosure where you could pick up the guineapigs and rabbits, and feeding the animals outside. We were given loaves of bread (free) when we arrived, so there was plenty of food to feed the animals.

There is an undercover area for you to eat your lunch, and a minimal amount of food you can buy there (I got a hotdog and it was cold, so it's not the best for food, but you can bring your lunch and have a picnic so that's good.)

They have pony and train rides you can pay extra for, I didn't go on the train ride, but my daughter did and it seemed to be a nice long ride, the pony rides were a bit short (we got a double turn since nobody was waiting), but the kids are generally happy no matter the length.

They were building a playground there when we went, which should be open now, adding to the things to do. Everything seemed nice and clean and there was plenty of parking. So overall it was a nice family day out.
