I had my hair washed and cut , to get it blow dried without products was another 40 dollars. Have a health care card but others were charged less than I for more.

I love this salon, I love the service, the friendliness and the caring nature of all the ladies who work here. True it's not a place to get a haircut if you want something like a side shave done, but in all seriousness why would you want one? These ladies know how to cut hair and know even more so how to style it right for your face shape and colour it correctly for your skin tone. The owner Nadia is lovely and just a beautiful soul, my hair dresser Ashley is incredible, she knows her stuff! If you want a proper haircut and a colour, this is the place to come to.. You won't get charged the earth and you walk out feeling like a million dollars.

Unfortunately this salon was really not up to scratch. I had a full head of foils, wash, trim and blowdry from a Groupon voucher. The hairdresser took nearly two hours to put the foils in, and as a result I had to make three trips to the basin to wash out 'parts' of the foils which were ready before the rest were done. They used completely cold water to wash, and as the temperature outside was 9 degrees (with the salon door open), I was dripping with freezing cold water on my scalp and neck while they slowly finished the rest. No offer of a towel or heat or even closing the door, despite me telling them I was very cold. After the third trip, I was told to just sit and wait at the basin until the rest were done, before they finally washed my hair. The toilet was an outhouse, very dirty with no light and no soap, and the whole salon looked grubby and old. Dirty walls, etc. The price was good, but the service barely matched the price. Additionally, the staff told me that because my hair was two inches below shoulder length, they would need to charge me an extra $25 on top of the voucher. I was a little miffed, but it was in the fine print that anything below shoulder length incurred extra charges - my mistake for not reading carefully enough - so I accepted the charge. However, an Indian girl next to me literally had hair past her buttocks, and she was charged an extra $30 on top of her voucher. I'm not sure how they work out that 2 inches is $25 extra, and and 2 feet is $30 extra. They did an ok job on my hair in the end, nothing special, but I would not go there again.
