The eggs are simply the best whether free range or caged. For those of you who have not been there you better hurry up as the property has been sold to developers. 6 to 12 months they said. We may have to travel further but there might be an enterprising person who could set up and new farm shop selling Nadra eggs, and the other products they sell. We are very sad to seeing this local icon departing.

90% of the eggs are caged eggs!!! The free range eggs are signed as free range but the rest are not signed that they are caged. I don't know if this is intended to mislead people but it is... because most people think they're buying free range but they are not. Ask them and they'll confirm what I'm saying.

At Woollies you can get "Manning Valley free range pasture based farmed eggs". Happy chickens lay happy eggs with loads more nutritious value.

Paying less is fine but you get what you pay for.

The healthiest eggs are omega-3-enriched eggs or eggs from hens that are raised on pasture. These eggs are much higher in omega-3s and important fat-soluble vitamins (44, 45).

When you're sick of weak, unfresh supermarket eggs, go to Nadra Eggs. They have all different sizes which you can buy by the half dozen, dozen or tray of 20. They also have frozen roasting chickens and boiling hens which make the best chicken soup!

You can also get hard to find dairy products (e.g. Maleny Dairies) and they make awesome fudge. When I went there last, they were cooking it and it smelled irresistible!!
