As a long time patron of Naked for Satan's pinxto lounge on the ground floor, I had been eagerly looking forward to trying out Naked in the Sky since it opened. After almost 2 years, I finally made it.
Perhaps it was because of the built up expectation and excitement, but unfortunately the place did not meet the expectations held by myself or my fellow guests.
The decor and service were pleasant and comfortable, but the food and drinks were sadly lacking.
We had the Naked for Satan pear and apple ciders. Not sure whether they were named so because they were brewed in-house or it was simply the 'house' cider option, but the taste was quite harsh and a little sour.
The food was OK. A little pricey for fitzroy, giving the great competition around. Nothing memorable and particularly impressive about the taste, composition or execution of the dishes however.
Probably wouldn't go back.
