A cozy little Japanese place in the local strip. Basic but comfortable fit out. THe menu offers great quality and quantity for its pricing. Food is excellent and tastes authentic.

Cute little restaurant for Japanese takeaway. Love the gyoza and naked bento box. Beware the volume of food is huge! But absolutely lovely food. Can eat in too, but seating is limited.

Great food. Nice simple menu and I have never had a meal that was sub par. The quality of service does change depending on who is working, but if they forget something all you need to do is ask & you get looked after.

I haven't been here for a few years, but i used to go all the time. They do the best gyoza - super fresh and tasty. Always had great service, just wish the restaurant itself was a bit bigger!

sashimi here is very fresh and the salads (there are usually 3 on offer) are really good value - this is a basic cafe-style japanese place. they have nice sake and a small drinks list with japanese beer, too. it's got a relaxed and friendly feeling to it. We usually sit outdoors on the street tables.

My partner and I were after a 'cheap eats' Japanese restaurant that did not charge $30 for udon noodles and $15 for five pieces of gyoza's. We discovered Naked Japan in beautiful Albert Park and had one of the best Japanese dinners ever. Very simple menu with added traditional dishes and the price was just perfect. The gyoza's are the best I have ever had. The service was quick and swift, no hassles at all.
