Had my Nab credit card stolen, rang to cancel card, was told that can only put temporary block on over the phone and must go to branch to cancel card.
When I asked what happens if I was unable to take time off work to do that was told that after temporary block has expired card can be used again ( by whoever has got it ) ????

I am not a customer of the NAB however the salary cheque i receive is from the NAB. Occasionally i need the cheque to be cleared immediately and head on down to this bank to claim the cash. There is always a que. The last time i was there 1/07/09 i waited 15 minutes in the que. Once i was called to the counter the lady processing my transaction was rude and did not apologies for my wait. I was then charged $5 to cash my cheque! I was informed that it is a fee for non NAB customers and then asked if i wanted to open account. AS IF the way i see it the $5 fee is just a taster of things to come... if this is the way potential cuntomers are treated and the fees they are charged i would HATE to be an actual customer!
