Last year we were fortunate to win some tickets to the National Sports Museum (a family pass). We had just had a tour of the MCG then we went into the Musuem. It was a very enjoyable experience. I wish we had of spent more time there but unfortunately it was only open for a certain time. Next time we will definitely have a couple of hours or more there.
While I had visitors staying with me in Melbourne recently I went to the National Sports Museum in the MCG. I am not a sports person but was amazed at the depth of display for each sporting code. It was very interesting.
I only did the Museum and would have loved to have done the sports ground tour. Another time. It is $20 for either Museum or tour or if you do the both $30.
Even if you aren't into sports it is well worth a look.
Approximate cost: $20 or 30
