Servicemen were efficient and timely and contact from head office was good. Only issue was a two week wait for a part which may not be Nationwide's fault though. It actually ended up being quite expensive as I had to pay for call out but as the part (oven element) wasn't in stock I had to pay for another call out when it was. If they had had the stock it would have been fixed the first time and therefore cheaper.

The service person John clearly explained the issues which he found and dealt with promptly.
He gave advice on how to clean the machine to try to prevent any blockages occurring again

They came on the day specified only they were1.30 hours late the times i was told. The repair man was curtsies & explained everything, only he fixed the washing machine with cable tie's instead of a hose clamp.

The response to my initial enquiry was helpful. The process was explained clearly with good follow up. The technician Adam let me know he was on the way and dealt with the problem efficiently, also explaining what to do should the problem recur. Excellent service all round.

I have successfully had credit card chargebacks for both of the amounts charged to my credit card by Nationwide Appliance Repairs. I did not accept their offer of one amount being refunded with the attached conditions that I would not be able to have any further refunds processed and that I agreed not to post any negative feedback on any website or social media websites.

I had to pay in advance for a service that was not adequately delivered. They replaced parts that did not require replacement. They quoted me for additional parts that were not required. I had to engage another repairer to do the work that they were paid to do.

I requested a full refund from Nationwide Appliance Repairs based on the following facts:



1. During the initial appointment the technician totally misdiagnosed the problem in a very short period of time. He said that the wok burner required a new thermocouple.


2. During the second appointment the technician unnecessarily replaced the thermocouple and when the wok burner still did not work he misdiagnosed the problem again and said that the wok burner required a new complete middle burner valve.


I paid $391.60 to Nationwide Appliance Repairs and was quoted another $348.50 to complete the job - A total of $740.10 for a job that took a couple of minutes to fix with a sewing needle and no additional parts by another repairer. The issue was a blocked gas jet. Nationwide Appliance Repairs did not diagnose this as being the problem.

I can accept that the technician from Nationwide Appliance Repairs was not familiar enough with the product that he was sent to repair. However it is not acceptable that I had to pay for the technician’s errors and had to pay another company to attend to the matter.

My request for a refund had to be followed up numerous times with phone calls and emails. They offered to provide me with a partial refund on the condition that I not post on line reviews. I continued to pursue a credit card chargeback and would have taken it to the ACCC if that had not been successful.

If you choose to deal with this company, please be aware of the excessive mark ups on spare parts. A thermocouple can be purchased by them for approximately $20 and the price charged to me was $96 plus GST.

I was so disgusted by this company that I wrote a very detailed feedback email to Bosch outlining my experience and requesting that they rethink their inclusion of Nationwide Appliance Repairs on their list of authorised repairers.

We understand a mistake was done by our end and we offered a refund to rectify the issue which you were not happy with then when the charge back came through we approved for the FULL refund to be proceed as we looked at the job once again and said its only right to do a full refund and not partial refund.

As said before we are human being and not robots and we do make mistakes. We are really sorry and apologies on behalf of everyone at Nationwide Appliance Repairs.

In saying this every business does make mistakes and no one is perfect but we will bring this feedback forward to our team and work on getting this resloved so this does not happening again with our team and to better improve our service for all our future customers.

his reveiw matches very simliar behavior to which I have experienced with this company
Hi,
I would like a refund please.
the technician has attended our property on 4 occasions and failed to fix the problem. In fact , if is now worse

1.the initial fault for the dishwasherwas an error code (OE) and a strange noise and it not draining.
2. the technician attended mentioned that it needed a new pump, we paid him for the callout and ordered the part through you and waited a week for the part to be available
3. We then scheduled a appointment which was further delayed by a week as the technician was sick.
4. he installed the part and then told us another part needed to be replaced which we then paid for.
5. he installed the parts and left.
6 the same error code (oe) was displayed within 20 minutes of him leaving.
7 I phoned to bring him back and he tryed to fix it and crimped the pipe in pushing the dishawashed back into the wall
8. he managed to get it working and left again
9 the same error code (oe) was displayed within 20 minutes of him leaving.
10 I called him back and he repostioned the piping to get it going.
11 two days later the same error appears

Given I have given you guys 4 attempts to fix the error with your expertise. I have not recieved value for money and nor does the service meet my basic expectations. thus I would like a refund as entitled under australian consumer law.

also the markups! they charged me 148 bucks for the replacemnet pump which is 68 dollars online.
Clearly these guys are attempting to block anyone in review sites whom suggests they are anything less than 5 stars
