Had a family dinner the other day. Pan fried pork buns and crispy chicken noodle soup are amazing. Highly recommended.

Tasty dumplings & wontons! The prices are fairly reasonable & service is friendly. The seats without the back rests aren't too comfortable, so avoid them if you plan to stay for a while.

Best Shanghai mini pork buns ever, so juicy on the inside and nice & crispy on the outside. The Xiao Long Bao are just OK. Another one of my favorite is fried rice cake with XO sauce.

Oh thank goodness, finally a place to get quality Xiao Long Bao in Melbourne. Tried their braised beef noodles last visit and it was really good too. Pan fired Xiao long bao was fluffy and not thick and hard. We have been gone back two weekends in a row!

They are located in the third level food court, but looks and feels more like a proper restaurant because they have their own dining area. The atmosphere is set through the 1920s colonial style decor and ornate wooden furniture, red lattice detailing and vintage posters.
The menu is shanghai style, so expect spicy, sweet and sour tastes. The dumplings and xiao long bao were of a high quality. Thin elastic pastry encased the flavoursome hot broth and filling. The wontons are really good, my personal favourite. The pastry was so silkly and slippery, filled with pork & prawn and served with a nicely textured chilli and nut condiment. They also offer panfried pork buns, again just right in terms of bun to filling proportion.
In terms of main dishes, expect things like chilli salt and pepper soft shell crab, duck w steamed buns (kind of like variation on peking duck), shanghai fried noodles.
Not bad for a food court restaurant, and not too much more expensive either.
