I spent $10,000 on two battery recliner sofas and 18 months later 3 batteries have failed. Nick Scali will not take any responsibility. They have discontinued with the battery supplier because of poor batteries and yet I am left holding the can as Nick Scali have wiped their hands of it and it will now cost me $900 to replace them - not good enough.

We purchased 4 pieces of furniture from Nick Scali costing a lot of money - many months of waiting and 2 of those arrived broken we did not want to accept them on arrival but NS delivery refused to take them back. After over 6 months of fighting they took one piece back and had to involve my bank to get our refund months later - still fighting as we have a lounge that is broken that we can't use. Had to go out and buy another lounge. We saved for ages to get this furniture and the company just does't care once they have your money.

Peeling lounge set after four months! Came with a massive tear in it! Worst customer service. Please do not buy! I wish I read reviews before I did!

Follow up customer care is appalling. I waited 7 months for my new sofa from this company and finally got a sofa delivered with a chaise section that is facing backward to the rest of the sofa (not just on the wrong side- it faces backwards! ) I have waited 4 days for any follow up and have been asked to ‘ send another picture’ This is a joke. According to the company website I will have to pay for transport if I choose to return the item.

If I can I will give this company a zero rating. This review is for the whole Nick Scali not for a particular store. Pathetic customer support. Nobody picks up your call. Deals only with SMS. Their online tracking system is a bogus which never gets updated. Customer support team is rude; they only talked about the contract you signed when you talk about cancellation of the purchase because of long delay. Nobody in this company takes responsibility of what they say and do, Some governing body needs to look into this company. I am pretty sure they will find plenty of cases of customer un-satisfaction. They should be brought under some regulation and audited,...I dont know. I am so frustrated.
We have been waiting for this lounge since June, it was finally delivered 2 months longer than expected lead time, which we understood, given the current global situation. When the lounge finally arrived, what we actually received was 2 halves of a lounge that couldn't even be assembled. We were convinced to wait yet another month for the missing half of the lounge that had apparently been delivered to another customers house to be redirected back to us. Fast forward another patient month to our agreed delivery date. Nothing arrives. We were the ones actively following this up and had to pull teeth to get same day call backs as to where our lounge was and what was happening. They finally call us back 4 days later saying "Your lounge was actually made wrong from the start, so you have no lounge here is Australia. If you pay us the FULL amount, we can give you a rental lounge (couldnt tell us what lounge) for time being and you have to wait another 12-14weeks for us to make you another lounge" You can imagine what our response was to this statement. So many lies and cover ups and absolutely no transparency whatsoever from the staff from the beginning. I can easily say I have grown a few extra grey hairs throughout this entire debacle. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
They suck. Just keep waiting for the delivery. I have been waiting for 18 weeks now when the promise was 8 to 12 weeks. I still don't know when they would deliver. When you call customer service they say next week every week. So not truthfull in communication and they keep you in a limbo about the delivery. Don't buy from Nick scali.
Hi guys,
we ordered our electric recliner back in 06. September last year and we still didn't get the item. When we bought it they said 2 Dec latest, then 25 Dec, then 21 Jan 2021, and now 02 Feb maybe.
We're very frustrated with this service. Covid situation is not here the first month.
I also asked a friend of mine to go to Nick Scali and chose something and ask about delivery time......
The friendly salesman said approx. 9 weeks.
I don't like to write it down bad reviews but I don't want you guys to wait 6 months as well. Consider it
