The Noodle Bar is newly opened and located inside Smithfield RSL. They offer noodle soups to rice noodle dishes such as curries and nasi goreng.I opted for the Nasi Goreng at $13 which came with seasoned rice, prawns, asian green vegies, fried eggs and the option of adding chilli if you like it spicy. I Opted for some chilli csauce on the side . It was a nice dish overall and the flavour and combination of ingredients worked well. We also ordered the Wonton Soup for $11 for the kids to share. That came with about 6 pork and prawn wontons, egg noddles and shallots served in a nice chicken broth. Kids enjoyed it and we had some chicken wings for $8 for 8 pieces.

The Noodle Bar is basically a hole in the wall type set up where you can see the open kitchen but is located towards The New Sports Bar inside the RSL, as kids aren't allowed inside this area, you basically hate to seat yourself in the Bistro Area of Chef's Kitchen and leave the kids at the table whilst you go and order. They do give you a buzzer to indictate when you order is ready for collection, thankfully the Krazy Kids Playground is inside the Bistro area so kids can let off some steam before dinner. The menu isn't extensive but there are a regular items that you expect to see on a noodle bar menu, will have to come back and try " Chef Charlie's Noodles" which is their version of Beef Pho.

It opens from 5am until late, so good for a late dinner. The counter has a menu stuck down there and you order from the same counter. There are a few seats in front but mostly diner's order their meal and make their way into Chef kitchen's bistro/ dining area and eat their, a good alternative to your normal bistro meals, pizza, steak or pasta options.
