DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!! unless you want to throw your hard earned money away. I had a hot start issue with my 1997 GQ Patrol. They said it was the diesel pump that was faulty so I trusted their judgement and gave the go-ahead for the $1440 expense. I was without transport for 4 days and after getting the Patrol back NOTHING HAD CHANGED! It still had the hot start issue so the diesel pump was clearly not faulty to start with. I called over numerous days to speak with somebody about the issue but every day they said the person I needed to speak with wasn't available. I finally got a hold of the person that worked on it and said to bring it in again for them to have a look at. I contacted them towards the end of the day to see how it was going and they hadn't even fixed the issue. Their excuse now was that the motor has been warn out! What?!?! They obviously had no idea what they were doing and weren't prepared to cooperate. I was hung up on and after trying to call them back at least 5 times immediately after they refused to answer the phone. I am extremely disappointed on the level of expertise and customer service I received from North Coast Diesel Service. I don't normally write reviews but I really think other people need to know about these guys and my bad experience with them.
