What an excellent meal & service. Recently my wife & I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary and chose to try the North Garden Chinese restaurant nearby. We caught a taxi so as to have a drink or two, and enjoyed a most excellent meal in very pleasant surrounds. we only made the manager aware of our status when leaving as the taxi had returned on time & she insisted on a bonus for us, but having a cab waiting had to decline, but we will be back, a wonderful meal & pleasant surroundings at a good price. We ate in mid week. A party of ten. We ordered about eight dishes of different varieties (lamb, duck, prawns, beef, chicken). Lovely food, served hot and within 20 minutes of ordering. The food was fresh and well presented.
Great service staff, friendly and efficient.
The facilities were clean and the music was nice, not too loud.
They were quite busy with takeaways.
Overall a very satisfying experience! We will return :)

The food here is delicious and well priced. We have only ever gotten take-away but the food is always ready when we are told to come in despite how busy they can get on weekends. They have great special packs they let you make alterations too for those fussy people as well.

Food is always tasty and we often get take away as it's sometimes too busy to eat in as this is a very popular restaurant. There aren't too many good Chinese restaurants in this area and so book ahead if you can. The staff are friendly and attentive and prices reasonable. I like the vegetarian chow mien the best and the vegetarian fried rice is tasty too.

I have ordered takeaway from this restaurant many times and the food is always great and last Saturday we decided to dine there for my mother's birthday and even though they were very busy (they always are) the service and meals were terrific. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful traditional Chinese restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff are great. Their duck is the best I have ever had and I won't eat duck anywhere else now !!

great restaurant, great service. we normally get the take away and call ahead, order is ready when they say and great value for money. food tastes fantastic!!!!
