All food items are extremely well priced and affordable for large families. The assistances are very helpful and friendly.

This NQR store is huge compared to the one in Hastings. The food is fantastic for the price especially the frozen stuff. They have great deals with bulk items that Coles or Safeway sell singly or not at all, like the bulk packs of pasta, my partner and I have 6 children between us and to buy already cooked pasta from Coles costs us a fortune. Thank god for NQR!!

For the price you pay, it is worth going there and most of the food still tastes great even if the use by date has gone. Sometimes the packaging is damaged but the food is still OK.

I went to this store last Sunday of which myself and my wife have been regulars for several years.I purchased some squeeze yoghurts and my 1 year old daughter had 2 of these in her hand of which I purchased 30.They were 50 cents each.So as not to cause a commotion my wife took my daughter to the car and asked me to tell the cashier to add them to the 30 others I was purchasing.I did this and was told rudely that "its not ok" to do so in a rude rude rude fashion. The girl was young with unkempt dreadlock style hair and made me feel so small for the sake of 1 dollar of which I made mention to her as I am no shoplifter.I dont know how I didnt throw the purchase in her face for her trivial comments.I spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars a year here maybe even close to a thousand which isnt much but its still a decent patronage. If I hadnt mentioned this to the cashier I could have understood her annoyance but we were trying to avoid a scene with a one year old in the queue.
