The place is close to Darling Harbour but hard to access for pedestrians. You have to go through a car park (I wonder what people on wheel chairs or elderly do to get there). The receptionists were friendly, the pool was a real lap pool, and the apartment itself was spacious, clean and had great city views. However, the noise level from traffic especially if your room is located near the freeway overpass was unacceptable (even above on the 11th floor like we were). No double glazing in sight. The wooden floors didn't help, as many residents/guests walking or running outside our apartment woke us up several times through the night. We had a good "weekend special" at almost half price but had no rest at all, so not worth it, really.

I stayed 2 nights in this service - apartment. The location of this apartment is very strategic, because it is only a couple of minutes walk from Darling Harbour, 5 mins from Sydney CBD area, 10 mins walk to Chinatown, around 15 mins walk to circular quay .. Perfect location! The room that I took was 2 bedrooms apartment - the bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen area, dining area and living room area were clean, tidy, neat ... as what i expected! the service was efficient. it is worth of money to stay in Oaks.
