I recently visited Oatley Nail Salon for the first time. Upon arrival I was
greeted with depressing Oriental music which was on repeat for the next
hour. My shelac pedicure was okay, but I was not given any TLC with my
manicure. There was no hand massage or care to cut my cuticles. I was under
the impression that manicures came standard with these. Further to this,
the gel polish lasted only one week before coming clean off! I also asked
for an eyebrow wax. This included having two pieces of wax strips applied
to each eyebrow, pulled off, and job done. There was no shaping or
tweezing. The wax was of such unprofessional quality that I've had to go
pay for another. I paid $80 for these three services. To me, this seems
expensive for the poor quality and lack of professionalism. It was a
disappointment, to say the least, in such lack of interest in offering good
service. The Salon itself is old and wearing down. I will not return nor
would I recommend this Salon to anyone else. This is the first ever review
I've posted of a business which goes to show just how strongly I feel about
advising others of my experience.

The girls are lovely. They are very skilled and do an excellent job. There is a special manicure/pedicure package and mine lasted for weeks.
