We have called in a couple of times when in the area for a quick meal and were satisfied every time. From the minute we walk in and we give our order, we were given friendly service, which is always appreciated.

I had a hamburger with all the trimmings which was delicious and very filling. Hubby had a flake which was a good size and cooked nicely.

happy to go back again.

I'm rating this place better than the one in Heidelberg for a few reasons.

Firstly its possible to get in the door to place your order/pick up. Secondly, the lady behind the counter is marginally more friendly than the one at Heidelberg who looks like she has taken one-too-many orders. Thirdly, the hamburgers are better cooked - Heidelberg under-does them and Blue Ocean is ahead on the ingredients.

Plus, the lady who is in charge runs a very tight ship !!

Ocean Blue, our local fish and chip shop is very consistent. The quality is great. They have excellent chips and a good range of options for fish. The staff are very friendly.
