While out and about we dined in the bistro area of this very old iconic Adelaide hotel. The salt and pepper squid were very nice as was the salad bar. They have themed nights here which sound interesting too. Well serviced and friendly. Well priced meals too.

Great place to eat. Dinner specials Monday to Thursday under $10. Regularly dine here Friday nights, great service, menu is constantly varied as are specials. Would highly recommend this pub.

I have only dined here once with friends and we were very disappointed with the meals. The chicken parmigana was awful. Fortunately 2 out of 4 of us enjoyed our meals. The customer service was okay and the prices reasonable. I did thoroughly enjoy the veg/salad bar though. We might go back again and give it another try.

Today I went through the drive thru for a soft drink. The customer service was average and the staff member seemed to be pre occupied considering it was 9:30 am. The drink I purchased was full price and stocked in the standard fridges… BUT was out of date and not by 1 or 2 weeks but infact almost 3 months! The drink was flat and tasted like cordial. It was inconvienant for me to head back and complain considering I was already heading to an appointment in 15 minutes down the road. Being diabetic I needed something with sugar to make sure I did not feel ill as I was not able to have breakfast earlier. Also, on this day the main part of the revamped hotel was not open for another 30 minutes.

I dine here regularly & the advantage is there is always 3 main meal options over and above the regular menu. I find these options whilst usually a bit more expensive than the average are also above average in taste and presentation. There are also some good choices on the regular menu & some good value specials on offer on most occasions. The salad and veg bar are better than most and I have found the service is generally good.
