I live in Hurstbridge and love the fact that whenever I need a unique gift I just have a 5 minute walk. Did 90% of my Christmas shopping here as well as great gifts for any occasion. Just love this gem of a store and the service is informative and helpful. Also beautiful gift wrapping just the finish the whole experience.

This is an absolute gem of a shop! The lady who owns the shop is Japanese. She sells beautiful handbags, jewellery, clothing and much more. I love the repurposed jewellery and unique handbags. I can honestly say that I have never seen the same things elsewhere. Everything at Oku Den was completely new to me.
The lady herself was very helpful and friendly and explained where her wares came from and what they were made of but without being pushy or trying to make a sale.
I could have spent hours there. You must go and browse!

This is a new addition to Hurstbridge and a welcome one. A quirky little store that stocks a lot of local creations such as the typewriter jewellery and some of the iconic melbourne gear. Also soo many lovely hats and handbags. You look for hours in this tiny store! what interested me was there lovely little collection of semi-precious jewellery. You can find a lovely gift here. Some oriental gear as well. Check out the website. The lady that served me was very helpful and patient and wrapped my gift which is great!! I'll be back, probably for a gift for myself! loL! a hidden treasure this place is!
