Great park,, we stayed 5 nights and loved it. I’ve never see cleaner amenities.
Staff always friendly.
The beach is very close and at night you can sit around the fire with a beer.

I have stayed at the one mile holiday park a few times over the years and most recently I stayed there for the weekend with my daughter and extended family. My child is 10 and she really enjoyed this place. There was plenty of on site activities to keep her entertained, they had a decent clean swimming pool with a slide in it, putt putt golf and a tennis court and also there is a hall with kids activities. She loved looking at the talking birds they have in an aviary there, and we all were really impressed to see a possum on the first night we were there, it came over and ate out of our hands, it was very tame! The next night was more of a treat as another possum came around which let us pat it. Overall we had a great time and the facilities were great and the quick access gate to the beach and the coffee shop and restaurant right next door was handy too. We will defiantly go back there! It can be a little pricey though compared to other parks.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Loved the fact that the beach is so close, walked there many times of the day. LOved the position of the park for the kids while I set up the tent/used the camp kitchen/ cleaned up... any reason, they used it to go play. The games room and indoor camp kitchen were a great facility. Kids always love the pool and putt putt. The space for the tent sites was good as kids had room to move (not many campers when I went, but great spacing). I would definately go there again, and have been recommending to others

This park has construction occurring at the front of the park. It is a pity they are more interested in that than their customers. We stayed here for 4 days, the website showed concrete paths and a lovely park with a cafe for our 3 year old son to play at. The front busy road is concrete the rest is tar that is full of pot holes and not possible for him to ride his scooter on. The park was old and degraded with massive pits at the end of the slides that were still full of water even though it hadn't rained in over a week. The room was supposed to be deluxe -was nice but a standard cabin compared to other parks we have stayed in. The jumping pillow was 'under repair' although we were never told. On the 3rd day we were there the power went out unexpectedly, we went out for the morning and got back at lunch, still no power, the front office was rude when we asked about it. Found out through ground staff that it was a planned outage but took longer than expected. Then found out they had put notices on the communal bathroom doors... except we and many other tourists had their own ensuites and no need to go to these toilets. No notice was given and no compensation given for the power being off for 7 hours. I would not stay in this park again although the potential with new management could be great for this park.
