Lisa was amazing! We thought she was going to teach our dog new tricks - instead she gave us the tools to figure out how to understand our Groodle's motivations. Across 4 sessions we reduced our dog's barking by at least 50/60%, she's no longer jumping up, and is walking much better on her lead. Thank you Lisa!

We have a very difficult and super anxious little Maltese X and over the last few months, with Lisa’s help, he has become calmer, more resilient and less reactive. There seems to be nothing she cannot find a strategy for. Every training session has been followed up with homework and worksheets and Lisa has always been available to answer questions. We still have a way to go, but Lisa has helped us to understand his behaviours (this has been so important) and has given us strategies that we can continue to use for further training. Peanut has gone from non stop barking during his first session to playing with Lisa in session 4. Brilliant!

One on One Dog training has been a perfect fit for me. I had expected that getting a great trainer would come with a wait of a few weeks before getting our initial appointment but Lisa was accommodating and I was able to book in my out of business hours which I really appreciate.
I did the online home dog training programme off Lisa's website while I was waiting to see her and I loved it! Each module is only a couple of minutes long and I love ticking off what we've done as me and my dog 'get' it down pat.
Also Lisa has shown she's very versatile in her methods. I have recently done a therapy dog training course which use atypical cues and no food rewards. Lisa has been wonderful in helping me nail the methods taught in the course so I can have my dog assessed in the next few months.
I find Lisa excellent value for money and very clear and kind with her knowledge on how to get best results for you and your dog.

I couldn't have asked for a better dog trainer for our 15 month old American staffy. I made the decision to find a dog trainer to help with walking training and dealing with other dogs while on the lead. What I loved about training with Lisa was she didn't judge with what I was doing with Saint before and we just started from the beginning. I booked in the four lessons and I enjoyed every lesson, my only regret that I didn't contact Lisa when we first bought Saint home. I don't think Saint and I would have made such a huge improvement without Lisa's guidance and knowledge. Thank you so much.

One on One Dog training is worth every cent. Lisa is an excellent trainer and provided great insight into the thoughts and behaviours of our puppy. Lisa provided tonnes of resources before any sessions began, and lots of homework in addition to the huge support given in each session. The sessions were tailored to our needs and problems tackled with professionalism, clear communication and Lisa's love for dogs was evident. Would definitely recommend Lisa and One on One Dog Training to anyone looking for some extra support with their furr-child.

Lisa did a great job of training our Jack Russell puppy. The advice she gave is easy to follow and training exercises are easy to implement. We can now keep our Jack Russell inside the house where she is a lot more relaxed and a part of the family.
