The state government school based dental program provides FREE oral healthcare to kids aged 4 up to grade 10. I took my kids there for their first appointment and found the staff to be very friendly and kind. They checked their teeth very briefly and found no issues of concern and explained things clearly. I was a little surprised how quick the check up was. I thought they'd be taking x-rays or at least clean their teeth but it really was just a very brief 'look,see'. It was free though and I did get some niggling questions answered and the kids were very happy to receive a new toothbrush each!
