My wife chose Orlene from a wedding guide because she looked nice in the photo. But when she came to our place for our first meeting there was something that made us feel like she wasn't the right celebrant for us. It's hard for me to put my finger on it. Then she pressured us into giving her an on the spot deposit of $150 and when we called her to say we weren't going to require her services she kept $50 of our deposit which I thought was rude.

My husband and I were very disappointed with Orlene. We felt really presssured into giving her a $150 deposit on her first meeting with us, then when we decided she wasn't right for us and asked for a refund she kept $50 claiming it was for her travel expenses and a diary that she had offered me but I didn't take as I already had one. Surely the travel is tax deductible for her anyway and if we hadbn't felt pressured into giving her the deposit she would've had to cop the expense anyway.
