We took a family member (& partner) here for a birthday dinner and not only were we ignored a lot of the time, the meals were horrendous.

One member ordered the scallops as a main. 4 scallops were on the plate but they weren't whole scallops - they had been cut in half so essentially on the plate there were only 2 scallops - as a main course!

Two of us got the fish special. It was small & overcooked & there was nothing else on the plate except 2 half scallops.

The last member ordered the battered fish & chips. Well that seemed to be the only meal which was of an acceptable main course size & which was well cooked. But I can get this at my local fish n' chip shop!

We walked out completely hungry & when we expressed our disappointment, they gave a simple apology but did not hesitate in charging full price - which was $170.00 (for 4 main meals & 4 drinks)

This cafe/restaurant has a great amiance. The meals are nice and the service is really great. The waiter I had was very accomodating, moving a table closer to an outside heater since they were full inside. He was very friendly, and knew the menu well. An added bonus that they are right near the cinema, and are great for a quick meal before a movie
