The outdoor seating? It's right on the corner of a busy round-about, hence the nick-name 'suicide corner'. Eating inside is very crowded and loud and the prices are ridiculous. I wouldn't bother.

Although the food is great here, I find it really overpriced. The service is good and it's a great location but I find myself reluctant to return knowing how expensive the food is.

the pantry i must say does have a good outdoor areas which is fun to catch up with friends for coffee. though overall value for money is low. a sandwich is about $17 and it is pretty much half a sandwich

We had a very nice meal, however the main course serving could have been a little bigger. The quality was great though. The chocolate pudding is a star! The pizzas are beautiful with very thin crust and interesting toppings. The recent Award Winning Salmon pizza is great. Lovely ambiance at night. I would like to go here move often.

Approximate cost: $36.00

The outdoor area is great for getting a little sun and people watching. The food usually tastes good but not amazing which I think it should do considering the prices. The service is very average, I usually get served by some young girl who may be goodlooking but also dopey and uninterested. Overall I think the main thing going for it is the location and they are lucky there is a lack of real competition in the area.

Very good atmosphere for a busy restaurant. Food was very fresh (i had a prawn dish) but the price quite expensive to compare with quality and quantity

Approximate cost: $22

Well it was pricey. Food was good. Bar was really well stocked. Pantry is 'the place to be seen. I wish there was a bigger cake variety. Very hard to find parking then if you find only 1 hour parking.

Service is 'iffy' at The Pantry. A lot of their staff are school aged students who although friendly, are definitely not 'professional' waiters, and it is often hard to get their attention when you want another coffee. Coffee is good - but probably the most expensive in Melbourne! Very noisy a lot of the time. Food for dinner is excellent quality but the menu doesn't change so if you wanted to dine there regularly, your only option would be the daily specials.

Fabulous. The food is fantastic. Great service. Very buzzy place. We loved the decor and atmosphere. The breakfasts with champagne are so delicious.

Approximate cost: $15
