Came in here for another coffee after being out and about. The shop is relatively new with seating in the cafe. The shop is neat and tidy and they serve a range of items to eat in or takeaway. Pies, pasties, pastries, fish and chips. My husband chose to have a custard tart as well as coffee and he enjoyed it. It is closed on Sundays

The first time I went here it was in the old premises. The new shop is much brighter and welcoming. We stopped here on the way to Mildura. I actually think the pies are nicer than before. We shared a vanilla slice that was good. On they way home we might stop in and sit down and have a coffee. Staff were quite friendly.

Approximate cost: $18

This is a really nice and clean bakery in Paringa, just across the river from Renmark, on the Sturt Highway. They have apparently recently moved premises from a couple of doors down (there is still a sign on the old shop saying they have moved). The new shop seems to be a lot bigger than the old shop, and more modern.
I bought lunch here today, a chicken salad roll for $6 (good value), made with real chicken pieces and a generous amount of salad, including cucumber and carrot. They had a nice range of pastries etc (vanilla slice wasn't bad!), and pies & pasties in a pie warmer on the counter.
The display counter and serving area are at one end of the double-width store and the other end has about 6 or 7 tables in a cafe area for sitting and eating in. There were quite a number of people seated in this area and it was roomy, clean, tidy with nice large windows looking out to the main street.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Worth turning off the Highway and up the main street, to stop at this bakery and cafe, if you are travelling between Adelaide and Mildura.

Approximate cost: $9.40.
