Amazing view as situated right on the foreshore - hard to beat this view in Melbourne! Nice food at a little over reasonable prices, considering view I would say the prices are acceptable. Staff are polite and well presented. A lovely spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch!!!

Great service, however the quality of the quality of the food wasn't as I expected. I would return for coffee and catch up with friends as the location is beautiful but that's about it!

Food is fantastic, service is not as great as it used to be, as there are lots of new / inexperienced waiting staff. Can get very busy during peak times at weekend and summer. Decor and view is fabulous.

Approximate cost: $20

The environment is beautiful being on the beach, with beautiful decor. It's a very comfortable environment, and relaxing. I did find that when I had an issue the complaint wasn't handled well by the manager, and in fact, she found excuses for inappropriate behaviour rather then acknowleding there was a problem. Very unprofessional.

We love meeting anyone at this cafe...the only hard thing is not being able to book a table, but the turnover is pretty good, so the wait is not long, with a view to ease the wait. Get there early on the weekends for a great breakfast!

I recently tried this cafe out after seeing it on Womow. I drive past it on Beach Road regularly but never even knew it was there! We had a beatiful Tapas plate for lunch which was really nice and there was enough for two. We also had quite a few coffess and just sat back and relaxed. The atmosphere is great, there are great views of the bay, although we weren't sitting near the window. Also has a nice outdoor area as well.

After a renovation late last year, the Parkdale Cafe is now licensed and more space. The food and service is as can be expected, but the scenery (the cafe overlooks the bay) and quaint surroundings make this cafe a popular haunt for locals.

Went for the first time on Saturday. Full view of the bay. Open fire place. Fantastic cafe style food. Only 4 wines to choose from but with the quality that they have you don't need any other wines. We sat for 3 hours. The staff were brilliant. I think that this could become our Sat or Sunday afternoon catch up and relax place.

Approximate cost: $13
