Had to visit the city today for work reasons, it was lunchtime when I finished my Interview, hubby and I noticed this really interesting cafe, it was a cute cafe with so much interesting things to see inside. Very cosy and great looking bar.

Friendly service. It has a great little menu.

Hubby ordered the burger and I ordered the smoked salmon bagel, both really delicious and the fries were great. They were so good we ordered another plate.

My latte was nice.

Great lunch we enjoyed it.

I had just finished a meeting and was walking with a work colleague when we came across this cafe. The aroma of the coffee forced us inside and after looking at the menu we knew we required a table. Their menus were quite large offering some variety. We both decided to try the Parlour Beef Burger, it was just what we needed - fabulous and fulfilling. We returned for breakfast the following day. We were lucky to get a table on both ocassions as this place is so popular. The decor certainly is dfferent with the barstools being ladies legs.

The staff were great, our meals and coffee being delicious.

Parlour Lane is a cafe by day, bar by night. It is very retro and has a 1950/60s american art deco feel.
I thought the bar/counter seating with the stools that feature ladies legs as the support (completed with stockings & heels) slightly unnerving at first, but got used to it.
In terms of the food and drink. There is great variety and quality. Salads, soups, sandwiches. Options like a Reuben, chicken soup with matzo balls. Great place to go for an interesting casual work lunch or post work drinks.
