Since going the first time the menu has changed as has the quality of the food and not for the better.
No longer making Turkish favourites like bulgar was an instant let down for me, as was their meat platter which mainly consisted of cold items like dolma and kofta and only one skewer each of chicken and lamb which must have been hanging out for a while because they were luke warm!
I'm guessing the owners put on a good show at first to rope customers in then stopped caring and made it all about money.
Shame.

Approximate cost: $30

We came here after purchasing a voucher and were pleasantly surprised. It was a huge banquet plus wine. There was meant to be a choice but we forgot to ask and were given a bit of a mix of our mains.

beautiful dips, turkish bread, mezze platter and lots more. We also got a dessert platter with turkish delight, baklava, turkish coffee and some beautiful turkish fairy floss.

I went here with a spreets voucher, where I got the banquet for two plus wine for $39 (usually $142).

Booking was difficult - I rang up to book on the weekend and the lady said no problem. I told her I would be using a voucher, and she told me they wouldn't accept my booking as they had already filled their quota for voucher bookings for that night. In fact, for every weekend night until the voucher expired! Very dodgy. So I booked for a week night instead.

When I got to the restaurant they couldn't find my booking, but found me a table after 10 minutes (they weren't busy) and wouldn't let me sit downstairs (they have a 'den' which is worth checking out - the waiter let me have a look, even though he couldn't let me sit down there).

The food itself however was great. The best part was the lamb - it fell apart in your mouth. Once again, I had to ask multiple times for things (water, dessert etc). I believe they'd be more attentive to people without vouchers (though I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay their regular prices, fairly expensive for Turkish food!)
