Have been here 3 times and haven't been disappointed at all. They have a set menu ($27.50) for 3 courses most week nights as well as their usual menu. Service is usually fast. They are kid friend. Atmosphere is beautiful.

New cafe, on the waterfront at Redcliffe next to the RSL. We walked passed last weekend but did not entry as the breakfast menu did not appeal to us. Called in today as the other cafe's were full, Great lunch time menu something for everyone, My Partner ate the fish and was very impressed, cooked just right, not dry, plenty of veges, good size meal. I was torn between the ox & kidney pie & the steak sandwich, i went with the steak sanga, steak was cooked as per my request, top cut of meat, all in all very enjoyable. A let down was the selection of drinks, we had a selection of 3, none of which you would have with a meal unless you were a child. we played it safe and had a water. We decided to stay on for a coffee and dessert, coffee was fresh and not burnt and the Pav serving was big enough to share between two. We checked out the diner menu while we were waiting once again something for everyone, GF options as well, price was the going rate $15-20 a meal. Staff friendly but obviously new & nervous, she left some of the coffee in the cup, had more of a shake going than Elvis. Would we go back? yes. It is new and they are still finding their feet, food good, view good, staff friendly, good decor & priced OK.

Approximate cost: $20-30
