Worst shopping experience...staff was good, the prices were okay, but the meat was so tuff. We spent over $60 with them, the sausages are so full of fat that my BBQ caught alight. Haven't tried the rest of the meat yet, but I won't be going back again.

Approximate cost: $60

We went to Pattons to check out meat advertised on TV the night before. While they were out of stock at the time, they assured us they would have further supplies later in the day. We returned a couple of hours later and successfully purchased the items we were looking for. The service was really good, and the quality and value of the meat ensures we will be returning.

I love shopping here. I don't go there weekly but probably about every 3 weeks. They have great specials every time I go and I can always get something i haven't had before. Personally I don't like the smell of the meat section up the back, it's a bit over powering for me. Everytime I go a grab a packet of rice crackers, 1 because they taste great, 2 because they are 99% fat free and 3 because they only cost $2.50 great value in my opinion. I can easily find the fresh produce i want and the staff are all really nice and willing to lend a hand.

They are very cheap and have great prices. Their meat are good cuts and are at a great price. But watch out for some of their dairy and packaged foods as they are very close to the expiry date. I once bought a pack of cheese which expired in 3 days.

Some of their stuff is out of date but priced accordingly - watch for quality. I love their chesses and don't mind hwen they are out of date - the stronger the better!
They stoke everything you need for a good meal and the quality has always been great.
Staff have always been friendly.

sensational value for money. When their specials are on, I have bought the freshest succulent chicken 2kg for $6, skinless chicken breast for $4.99, fresh, lean, tender pork (hardly any waste) for $3.99/kg -all sliced up less than $2/chop. Rump at $4.99, 5kg of basa fillet for $20. tasmanian south cape and king island cheese at $2, 1 kg yoghurt at $2.50 onions for 29 cents/kg, fresh cauliflower at ridiculous prices...and it just goes on and on. tQ Patton.

Love, Love, Love this place. Thanks to my friend for telling me about this shop. I go there at least once a week. I buy nearly all my dairy products here because they are so cheap - just watch the expiry dates! Cheeses that usually cost a fortune to buy at Coles cost half the price or more at Patons. Bulk meats are at a very good price but you do get a little tired of the same marinades used. Fruit and Vegetables are usually very fresh and are very well priced! Occasionally you will come across a checkout operator in a bad mood.

I,ve been shopping at Patton's ever since it opened (over a year now). I have always been extremely happy with price and quality and service. Although I purchased some apples last week which were extremely poor quality, I rang to explain and the staff member said just keep receipt and show next time you are in for replacement. I therefore disposed of the apples to my chooks. Today I went there to do my usual average $80 shop and was told by the service manager I should have kept the rotten apples to return for replacement -not what I was told over the phone. For the sake of $3.50 they are prepared to lose a loyal customer!! The customer service manager needs to inform all staff of store policy and wouldn't hurt her to have a happier approach with dealing with customers.

It's amazing how such a trivial matter can leave a very bad taste in your mouth!

Approximate cost: $80

The best fresh vegies around in Aspley. Their bargains are always good and they have a huge variety of everything. Blows the supermarkets out of the water. Great to buy some other items on special as well. The meat and petfood have great ranges. Its a one stop shop for all your fresh food and meat. There are often several different options of freshness so do check that your bargain will last the distance.

I love the range of fruit, vegetables and meat. Their pineapple cured corned meat is a household favourite at the moment.

You certainly can't complain about the value for money here! The meat is particularly cheap (esp chicken, mince) though you will need to buy in larger quantities. I find the quality comparable to supermarkets. The guys behind the meat counter are very chatty and fun. There are also good specials on cheeses and similar deli items - again you need to buy bigger amounts. The fruit and vege are mostly good, occasionally though i have found them to go off quicker then expected.

Always a good experience - the staff are friendly and informative. The prices are amazing, its always surprising people buy fruit, vegetables or meat at the overpriced Coles next door. Very high quality fruit and vegetables fresh and plentiful. The reason Pattons is always busy is that they have great products, friendly service and reasonable prices. Only wish they would go back to carts that you do not need a gold coin for - no one ever seems to have one when they need it. Other than that - i highly recommend Pattons.

Unreal...lots of variety. Great fresh meat...reasonable prices.Great specials. Fresh fruit and vegetables always a bargain to be had. Wonderful service. The floods had just happened and i work as the catering manager in a nursing home. We had extra residents because of an evacuation of another site . At the time there were no deliveries because the rocklea market had gone under. I sent my parents of to pattons to see what produce I could get. Pattons were wonderful and helpful to getting the stock I needed. Great!!!

Very friendly and helpful! I walked in and thought wow this place is big, and also neatly set out. If you want helpful, friendly service then I thoroughly recommend Big Gun, and compared to most other fruit and veg shops they are the big gun, with a butcher

Excellent weekly specials on a range of fresh fruit, vege, meat, and cheeses.
last week we bought whole wheels of king island brie for $1 each. Admittedly they were right on expiry, but wow what a bargain. We've also previously bought whole rumps at $4kg, which is sliced to your specification by their onsite butchers.

We watch out for their weekly specials and stock up accordingly.

A very very welcome to our neighbourhood, and a boost to our tightened budget!
