The site is on a steep slope with poor access but the team were undaunted and arrived every day in cheery moods and were a pleasure to have around. We had several rotten old wooden stumps collapse under a very low-set late 30s bungalow. Paul's team worked in a very confined space, yet dug deep and stable footings for a combination of steel post and concrete stump replacements.

They were particularly careful to minimise disruption to utilities and existing gardens, and worked around all obstacles carefully. We didn't even have to move out any items stored under our house. This is in stark contrast to others who quoted for the job, who required us to have drainage, water supply and electrical wiring moved and clean out stored items before they started work.

The house was expertly levelled so that all doors and windows worked (including french doors that had not closed since we bought the house 27 years ago!). Paul and his team also built new paling lattices made to measure on site and even painted them for us, despite that not being in the quoted job. The site was cleaned up perfectly after completion.

I can thoroughly recommend Paul Simpson and his team - they are true professionals in restumping. Avoid cheaper outfits who only want to replace stumps and expect you to do half the work for them!

Very refreshing to find an "old school" tradesman who values his customers. From the first phone call Paul put me at ease and could not be happier with the finished result. He explained the process in full before we began and commenced work ahead of his indicated start date. His team worked tirelessly for 2 days replacing 5 concrete stumps and left the site cleaner than the way they found it!
