I have been to this restaurant few times. I do love there Indian breads. Specially the Alo parata. you can asked them to make spicy and it taste great. Also I do like the Chicken Biriyani they prepare. But I think they can improve more on there curries I feel they lack flavor.

This place is consistently good! We have gotten take away from this place about 6 times so far and never been disappointed.

Their Naan bread is so light and fluffy and pulls apart so well, and their butter chicken is a dream.

Prices are reasonable, and serving size is decent too.
Highly recommended!

I went for the lunch special which was $9. For my $9 I got the Indian dipping sauce (minty yogurt) and chip style dip snacks to start. Then a delicious butter chicken with rice served with Parantha (Indian Bread)...ALSO included with this was a can of drink and a jug of water. (There was a wide selection of food to have in either beef, chicken or lamb).
If you want something from the menu the cost vary from $12. Great friendly service :)

Approximate cost: $9.00

There's a lot of Indian food in Dandenong but Payal has the best naan in town. We love our Indian breads so that's the deciding factor for us. Make sure you make clear how hot you want your curry as the heat can fluctuate from night to night. They serve beef and vegetarian.

Approximate cost: $15

The decor at Payal is very basic, but that can be a sign that the food and service has to be extremely good to make up for it. In this case, it does, and by far! The food was fresh and flavoursome. It is the best Indian we ahve eaten in a long time and has replaced Cinnamon Club (Cheltenham) as our preferred Indian resturant.

Try Payal, you wont be disappointed!

Approximate cost: $10.00

The southern end of Foster Street 'Little India' has plenty of Indian restaurnts, but Payals is by far the best so far. Payal's may not be the most elegant of restaurants, but the food is out of this world and the proprietor Prakash is a very accommodating host.

Keep an eye for the lunchtime special Tues-Fri - A curry, rice, papad, naan bread and drink for $7.50.

Approximate cost: $11
